The present invention relates to a power device having a surge protection circuit for power supply in a device used at a subway substation. The power device having a surge protection circuit for power supply in a device used at a subway substation according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an alternating current (AC) power source unit having a positive terminal, a negative terminal, and a ground and outputting AC power through the positive terminal and the negative terminal; a power conversion unit including a first capacitor having one end connected to the positive terminal and the other end connected to the negative terminal, inductors connected in series to both ends of the first capacitor, a second capacitor having both ends connected to the inductors, respectively, and bridge diodes connected in parallel to the second capacitor to convert the AC power into DC power; and a surge protecting unit short-circuiting one of both ends between the positive terminal and the negative terminal, both ends between the positive terminal and the ground, and both ends between the negative terminal and the ground, when surge is generated at both ends among the three cases.
