The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a metallic mold for water-repellent finishing of a fabric and a method for water-repellent finishing of the fabric using the same, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a metallic mold for water-repellent finishing of a fabric, capable of forming fine patterns having a water-repellent function on a surface of the fabric, and a method for water-repellent finishing of the fabric using the same. According to the present invention, fine patterns having a water-repellent function can be formed on a surface of a fabric through a direct transferring method. The present invention is conducted through a simpler process than an existing coating method or an immersion method using a resin, and can be applied to even a large-area process, thereby being capable of improving productivity and economic feasibility. In addition, a solvent or the like, which is harmful to the environment, is not required to be used, thereby being capable of improving working stability. Further, since no fear exists of a decrease in the water-repellent degree due to friction or washing, the water-repellent function can be semipermanently maintained.
