The present invention relates to a direction switching valve for controlling a turbine of a coal-fired power plant, and more specifically, to a direction switching valve for controlling a turbine of a coal-fired power plant to solve the adherence phenomenon of a spool for switching the flow direction of a hydraulic fluid for controlling the turbine of the coal-fired power plant. The present invention has an effect for easily solving the adherence phenomenon of a spool by vertically installing a pilot solenoid valve for providing high spool switching force which is capable of solving the adherence phenomenon of the spool; allowing a worker easily to recognize whether a valve is broken by installing an operation state confirming means which is capable of confirming if the spool is normally operating; and easily solving the adherence phenomenon of the spool by installing more compulsory switching means for moving the spool back to the original position or compulsorily moving the spool when the spool is adhered.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
