The present invention relates to a method of germinating Prunus yedoensis Matsum. seeds, more specifically, to a method for increasing the germination efficiency by freezing Prunus yedoensis Matsum. seeds by putting the seeds in the liquid nitrogen, inducing a damage suitable for spornioderm by defrosting through dipping in a warm water, then processing the seeds with gibberellin. According to the present invention, high germination efficiency of Prunus yedoensis Matsum. seeds can be achieved with a very simple method compared to an existing method that has a high loss rate of seeds in a process of germination and requires more manpower and time.
