METHOD FOR DECIDING THE PARITY BIT DEMAND OF WYNER-ZIV VIDEO CODEC WITH MOTION INFORMATION FEEDBACK

The present invention relates to a method for deciding a parity bit demand of Wyner-Ziv video codec with motion information feedback, wherein the Wyner-Ziv video codec is capable of distributing a disproportionate energy quota of an encoder by reducing complexity of the encoder and increasing the complexity of a decoder. The method comprises a step in which an encoder having received motion vectors from a decoder generates complement information by using the motion vectors; a step in which the encoder delivers information on a bit error rate to the decoder after obtaining the bit error rate for each LDPCA frame; and a step in which the decoder calculates a parity bit demand according to the bit error rate.
