摘要

The present invention relates to a plasma torch-type melting apparatus for manufacturing rockwool byproducts using inorganic wastes, and a manufacturing method thereof, which can manufacture rockwool byproducts such as stone fiber and stone wool using inorganic wastes such as coal ash and waste asbestos. The melting apparatus of the present invention includes: a furnace (100) provided with a first plasma torch (110) to melt an input raw material; a melt reservoir (200) connected to a lower part of the furnace (100) by a melt discharge port (104) to store melt discharged from the furnace (100), and provided with a second plasma torch (210) to adjust the temperature of the me and rockwool byproduct manufacturing devices (310, 320) provided on the melt reservoir (200) to manufacture rockwool byproducts. The furnace (100) has a melting section (A) where the raw material is melted by the first plasma torch, and a pre-processing section (B) where the raw material is dried in a process of transferring the input raw material to the melting section (A), and includes a piping for drying (120) which connects an upper part of the melting section (A) or the melt reservoir (200) with the pre-processing section (B) to induce the flow of high-temperature exhaust gas to the pre-processing section (B), thereby drying the raw material.
