The present invention relates to a sensor network system and a method for defending against an attack on a sensor network. The sensor network system according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of sensor nodes arbitrarily arranged, where each sensor node includes information on its physical position, recognizes other sensor node positioned within its communication range, and when a specific sensor node transmits data to another sensor node, the specific sensor node transmits the data to a sensor node nearest from a destination node among the sensor nodes within its communication range; and a managing part for collecting traffic information over a network and, in the case of collecting information doubted as harmful traffic, selecting at least one among the sensor nodes as a detour node, wherein the managing part may inform the sensor nodes, positioned within communication range of the detour node, that a physical position of the detour node is changed into a logical position and reset a routing path to make the data pass through the detour node.
