The present invention relates to a method for controlling non-contact hand movement, a system thereof, and a method for controlling a pac-man game. More specifically the method for controlling non-contact hand movement comprises a step for enabling an image obtaining unit to photograph and receive an image comprising a hand of a user which moves to a direction of moving an object; a step for enabling a hand area extracting unit to extract a hand area in the image by processing the image; a step for enabling a gravity central calculating unit to calculate the center of gravity of the hand area; and a step for determining and controlling the direction of moving the object by the location of the center of gravity of the hand area. The method for controlling non-contact hand movement, the system thereof, and the method for controlling the pac-man game are provided to determine a movement direction and a movement distance according to the position of the center of gravity of the hand after photographing a hand gesture of the user to control the movement of the object, thereby easily moving the object without using a keyboard or a mouse, and increasing user convenience.
