A tower type solar thermal power plant system is provided. The tower type solar thermal power plant system comprises: a condensing unit configured to condense sunlight by tracking the sun and to transfer solar radiant energy to an absorber using a heliostat; the absorber configured to transfer heat energy to the air which is a circular medium by utilizing the solar radiation energy transmitted from the condensing unit; a steam generator configured to generate steam using the heat energy; a storage configured to save the air passed through the absorber; and a power generation unit configured to generate electricity by driving a steam turbine using the steam generated in the steam generator.
