BUDDHA AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING STATUE OF THE BUDDHA

The present invention relates to a Buddha statue having a shape change structure and a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention includes a Buddha statue main body manufacturing step in which a molten metal is injected into a mold so that multiple fastening holes are formed for an arm portion to be inserted and fixed and a Buddha statue main body is manufactured; an insert step in which a molding wire having a branch molding wire is arranged in the mold for forming the arm portion; an arm portion forming step in which a molten mixture formed of an elastic resin material is injected into the mold where the molding wire is arranged so that the arm portion is formed; a processing step in which an end portion of the arm portion is cut so that an end portion of the built-in molding wire protrudes outside and is inserted into the fastening hole; a coupling step in which the arm portion is inserted into the fastening hole of the Buddha statue main body and is fixed; and a shape change step in which the arm portion coupled with the Buddha statue main body is molded. According to the present invention, the arm portion can be conveniently fastened to a Buddha statue body for convenient installation. Also, the present invention can be reduced in unit cost compared to an arm portion which is formed of a metallic material. In addition, a risk of damage during the course of manufacturing and transport can be decreased for manufacturing cost reduction.
