CONCRETE COMPOSITION FOR VEGETATION BLOCK AND VEGETATION BLOCK PRODUCED BY THE SAME

The present invention relates to a concrete composition for vegetation blocks and a vegetation block manufactured thereby and, more specifically, to a concrete composition for vegetation blocks comprising cement, bottom ash, and water, and a vegetation block manufactured thereby. The concrete composition contains 200-300 parts by weight of the bottom ash on the basis of 100 parts by weight of the cement. A water-cement ratio as a water (a) to cement (b) weight ratio (a/b) is 20-30 wt%. The concrete composition for vegetation blocks according to the present invention is manufactured using the bottom ash as the byproduct of a thermal power plant instead of existing expensive materials such as perlite, thereby reducing price. The vegetation block according to the present invention can induce the rootage or growth of plant roots between pores thereof, and can have light weight and excellent compression strength, absorption, permeability, and moisture content since it uses the bottom ash with many pores.
