The present invention relates to a method for processing an output signal of an encoder of 12 multiplication and, more particularly, to a method for processing an output signal of an encoder of 12 multiplication, capable of accurately controlling the speed and position of a control object and improving resolution for the output signal of the encoder in comparison with an existing 4 or 8 multiplication method by generating a 12 multiplication signal by applying six signals whose phases are shifted. The present invention provides the method for processing the output signal of the encoder of the 12 multiplication which includes the steps of: receiving sinx and cosx waveforms as the output signal of an encoder sensor unit; adding four signals which are sinx+cosx, sinx-cosx, sinx+cosx, and sinx-cosx; and performing the 12 multiplication by reducing the phase and amplitude of the waveform, converting the waveform into a digital signal using a comparator, and transmitting the digital signal to a multiplying circuit.
