The present invention relates to a method for forming an optimal path considering multiple communications media on a network consisting of multiple nodes and, more specifically, to a method for forming an optimal path considering multiple communications media on a network which is composed of a communications network including a plurality of communications media and which consists of a plurality of nodes between a base station and a destination node. The method comprises the steps of: selecting at least one among types of transmissible data by a users input; allowing a user node to select a usable communications medium so as to transmit the selected data to a destination node; checking whether a plurality of adjacent nodes neighboring within one hop on an optimal path exist with respect to the user node; and allowing the user node to calculate the sum of a distance from the user node to each adjacent node and a distance from each adjacent node to the destination node or the base station according to each of the adjacent nodes checked in the checking step, and searching an optimal adjacent node at which the sum of the distance from the user node to each adjacent node and the distance from each adjacent node to the destination node or the base station is minimized among the adjacent nodes.
