摘要
The present invention relates to a method and a system for controlling demand-response power by using a virtual demand-response server and, more specifically, to a method and a system for controlling demand-response power, wherein the system includes a virtual demand-response server, utilizes a DHCP server as well, and integrates the virtual demand-response server and a gateway into a single server, therefore enables a demand-response client to configure a network environment for a demand-response server easily or automatically. The method for controlling demand-response power comprises: a step where a virtual demand-response server receives a demand-response request signal from a demand-response client; a step where the virtual demand-response server delivers the demand-response request signal to a demand-response server corresponding to a protocol of the demand-response request signal; and a step where the virtual demand-response server receives a demand-response acknowledgement signal from the demand-response server and delivers the demand-response acknowledgement signal to the demand-response client. The virtual demand-response server can process one or more demand-response protocols. The present invention includes a virtual demand-response server, integrates the virtual demand-response server and a gateway into a single server, and enables a demand-response client to configure a network environment for a demand-response server automatically by using a DHCP server, thereby enabling an individual demand-response client to configure a network environment for a demand-response server easily or automatically without a complicated network configuration process in accordance with a multi-protocol environment.
