The present invention relates to a cooperative communications method and, more specifically, to a method for performing the cooperative communications by selecting a best helper node to relay data communication between a transmitting node and a destination node. The cooperative communications method, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, has an effect of reducing overhead which can occur in the helper node selection process for the cooperative communication. In addition, the present invention increases the system throughput compared to an existing method.
