FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: method is realised via polylactide-based melt electrospinning. Catalytic synthesis of (co)polylactide is carried out in an extruder reaction zone. The starting monomer used is lactides or mixtures thereof with glycolides. The obtained nonwoven material consists of polymer fibres with average diameter from 1 to 20 mcm and is characterised by surface density of 5-50 mg/cm2 packing density of 0.05-0.25 g/cm3.;EFFECT: obtaining fine-fibred biodegradable nonwoven material which does not contain a residual solvent, using a single-step continuous melt electrospinning process.;7 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
