METHOD FOR ESTIMATING EFFECTIVENESS OF MANUAL THERAPY OF PATIENTS AFTER HIP REPLACEMENT

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: X-ray image of a proximal one-third of femur and pre- and post-therapeutic patient's clinical state are analysed. The X-ray image is used to measure an average optical density (AOD) of soft tissues along an inner surface of a proximal femur to be aligned. If observing the AOD as compared to the pre-therapeutic level by more than 50% in a combination with intermittent slight pain syndrome, a response to the therapy is considered to be positive. The AOD decreased within 16 to 50% in a combination with persistent slight pain syndrome shows a satisfactory response to the therapy. If the AOD decreases by 15% and less in a combination with persistent pronounced pain syndrome provides stating a negative response to the therapy.;EFFECT: objective estimation of the manual therapy in the given group of patients.;6 dwg, 3 ex
