METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING AVERAGE LIVE WEIGHT OF BROILERS IN STOCK WITH THEIR FLOOR MANAGEMENT

FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: method of determining average live weight of broilers in the stock with their floor management comprises automatic measurement of weight of the birds while drinking water at their state of minimum physical activity. Control is continuously carried out throughout the growing cycle. After weighing each broiler the current information on the number of weighted currently broiler chickens, their average live weight and the current margin of error of representation for the given sample size is provided. Reduction of influence of dynamic noises caused by physical activity of the bird on the measurement result is provided by carrying out a series of repeated measurements of weight of each bird weighed, at that the representation of the sample is achieved by weighing a certain number of broilers, which average weight characterises with sufficient accuracy and reliability the average live weight of the bird in the stock.
