FIELD: electricity.;SUBSTANCE: in stationary network mode electricity values, e.g. voltage, are measured at a given time at terminals of secondary low-voltage windings of two single-phase high-voltage transformers connected to a wire of the same phase. Quotients of data from secondary winding output of one transformer divided by similar data from secondary winding output of another transformer at the same moments, e.g. multiple to network voltage oscillation period, are compared. Faults of technical state of one of single-phase transformers are detected when quotient of compared transformers at the same moment reaches set threshold value. Selection of a particular failed transformer out of two transformers is performed by comparing quotients of data from secondary winding output of one transformer divided by similar data from secondary winding output of another transformer at sequential moments corresponding to measurement moments multiple to network voltage oscillation period. Transformer with larger quotient of measured values at sequential moments is considered the failed transformer.;EFFECT: simplified diagnostics.
