FIELD: electricity.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to devices of substations for power system substations. The specified substation device is made as capable of using device-dependent physical addresses for connection with other substation devices of the specified substation, besides, the specified substation device comprises a processing module to process information content of these messages. In accordance with the version of invention realisation the specified substation device additionally comprises a module of address conversion for conversion of the specified device-dependent physical addresses into device-independent virtual addresses and vice versa.
