FIELD: transport.;SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in that exhaust gas flow is directed upward from locomotive diesel gas discharge pipe. Besides, said discharge gas flow is accelerated in planes inclined relative to gas discharge pipe vertical axis for intensification of mixing of exhaust gases with ambient air and decreasing of vertical component of gas-air flow velocity. Proposed device is composed of vane device with radial guide vanes. Surface of said vanes facing exhaust gas flow is inclined to gas discharge pipe vertical axis at angle α equal to 25-65 degrees. Vane device centre accommodates vertical hollow cylinder with guides vanes attached to its outer cylindrical surface.;EFFECT: decreased thermal and dynamic effects on trolley line.;2 cl, 3 dwg
