The component (1') has a single-piece electrical conducting profile body e.g. rod and tape, provided with two successive deformation regions that are arranged in a longitudinal direction. The profile body is deformed in the deformation regions in a different manner, where a cross-sectional area of the profile body is larger or equal to 25 square mm. The profile body comprises a rectangular section that is provided with a minimum thickness of 2.5mm, a minimum width of 10mm and a total length of 6 m. Connection regions are formed at ends of the profile body and provided with holes (3). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electrical interconnecting component.
