The device has a heel (3) comprising first and second support faces forming an angle between the faces. The support faces are engaged with contact faces (13, 14) of fixed part i.e. middle part (12), of a timepiece. Clamping elements e.g. screws (17), exert pressure in a direction perpendicular to the support faces. The support faces of the heel and the contact faces of the fixed parts are orthogonal to each other. The screws traverse the heel according to orthogonal directions, and are screwed into threads in the contact faces.
