The regulating element (41') has a balancer (43') cooperating with a spiral (51') formed in a silicon material layer. The spiral includes a hairspring (53') mounted coaxially on a ferrule (55') having a cavity. The ferrule includes an axial extension portion projecting from the hairspring, where the axial extension portion is carried in another silicon material layer. The axial extension portion of the ferrule is connected to the balancer as a single-piece. The balancer includes a hole prolonging the cavity of the ferrule to receive a balancer axle (49). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a single-piece regulating element.
