Pivoting axle i.e. non-magnetic balance axle, for clockwork movement of timepiece, has pivot made of composite material having metal matrix charged with hard particles in order to limit sensitivity of axle to magnetic fields
The axle i.e. non magnetic balance axle (1), has a pivot (3) arranged at an end and made of composite material having a metal matrix including a metal chosen among nickel, titanium, chromium, zirconium, silver, gold, plate, silicon, molybdenum, aluminum or alloy. The matrix is charged with hard particles selected among tungsten carbide, titanium carbide, tantalum carbide, titanium nitride, titanium carbonitride, aluminum oxide, zirconium di-oxide, chromium oxide, silicon carbide, molybdenum disilicide and aluminum nitride in order to limit sensitivity of the axle to magnetic fields.
