Stainless steel alloy comprises a base comprising chromium and iron and arranged in an austenitic face centered cubic structure and super-austenitic type comprising manganese and nitrogen. The alloy comprises 15-25 wt.% of chromium; 0.5-10 wt.% of at least one carbide-element taken from a set comprising molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, niobium, zirconium, and titanium; 5-25 wt.% of manganese, 0.1-0.9 wt.% of nitrogen; 0.1-1 wt.% of carbon; 0.1-2 wt.% of impurities and other metals, and up to 100 wt.% of iron, in replacement of the mass equivalent to iron in the alloy.
