The device (1) has an automatic leak detecting unit for detecting leak of gas across a casing (2) and comprising a microcontroller (5) connected with internal and external pressure sensors (3, 4). The internal pressure sensor is placed inside the casing, and the external pressure sensor is placed on an external surface of the casing. The microcontroller controls whether variation of the pressure in the casing is different from variation of the pressure outside the casing based on measurements from the sensors to determine whether the casing has sufficient degree of sealing. An independent claim is also included for a method for automatic detection of electronic device.
