A method for the transmission of a message, which consists of a bit sequence, and for generating a key pair, comprising a public key and a private key, for an asymmetrical encryption for encrypting the message with the steps of creating a public key and a private key, to a digital appliance, characterized by the,a) for generating of the public key two rows and columns of the matrices having the same size, each with several randomly selected bit sequences in each row are produced as bases,b) that each base, an identifier (odd, even) is assigned toc) and that in one of the two bases in each bit sequence a subsequence as a subset of bits of this bit sequence and columns are selected according to a random principle,d) in which the positions of the bits of a subsequence in all of the bit sequences are the same and the sum of the bits of each subsequence by a with a suitable operator the logical linking to their parity, and as a result of the linkage is formed in each case a lower sum,e) that it is checked whether the determined parity each formed by the linkage lower sum corresponds to a predetermined parity, and, if this is not the case, a bit in said subsequence from 0 to 1 or from 1 to 0 is changed, as a result of this base is marked, wherein a selection, which bit within such a subsequence is changed, takes place in accordance with a random principle,f) that these two bases (odd, even) represent the public key,g) that the private key is the knowledge of which of the two bases (odd, even) the labeled base and at which position within the bit sequences of the marked basis of which are located the subsequences as well as of which the position of the changed bits,h) and that each bit of the bit sequence of the message is encrypted and individually is decrypted, wherein for the encoding of each individual bits randomly selected bit sequences, and indeed lines of the corresponding matrix, is used and the randomly selected bit sequences are linked with a bit by bit xor operator.
