The door structure (10) or flap structure has an inner panel element and an outer panel element, where a cavity is formed between the two panel elements. A functional part (18) of the door- or flap structure is arranged in the cavity, which is position fixed by a foamed structure with respect to the inner or outer panel element. The functional part is embedded partially in the foamed structure. The foamed structure is supported at the inner sides of the inner and outer panel elements, where the inner sides face each other. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a door- or flap structure.
