The generator gearbox comprises a driven shaft (6), which is mounted in a bearing support structure by a fixed bearing (10) and a movable bearing (11). The movable bearing has two cylindrical roller bearings (19a,19b) lying adjacent to each other. The two adjacent cylindrical roller bearings have same dimensions. The sum of the load ratings of the two adjacent cylindrical roller bearings corresponds to the load rating of a comparable single bearing. The roller diameters of the cylindrical rollers (27a,27b) of each of the adjacent cylindrical roller bearings are equal.
