The crane has a trolley (100) movable along a carrier, and a deflecting unit (110) i.e. deflection roller, for deflecting traction units (120) for lifting a load. A drive for lifting the load is stationarily arranged relative to the carrier. The carrier is provided as a downwardly opened or upwardly closed and opened and self-supporting profile (200), where the trolley and the deflecting unit at the trolley are arranged within the profile. Partial sections of the traction units are arranged within the profile. The drive is stationarily arranged for horizontally moving the trolley.
