The stockings or socks comprise invisible data, which are pair-wise different. The stockings are pair-wise coded. A code label is sewed in each stocking in an invisible manner, where the code label is designed as a Radio frequency identification tag. A reading device is integrated in a mobile telephone to detect the individual stockings. The stockings are placed in five rows on a table after the washing- and drying process. An independent claim is included for a method for sorting stockings and socks after the washing process.
