Resilient pivotal connection element e.g. resilient joint disk for forming rotational torque transmission connection between two shaft ends, has axially extending regions shortened in axial direction by force that compresses thread packages
The element i.e. resilient joint disk (1), has a collar case comprising radially projecting collars at two ends of axially extending regions. Oval shaped thread packages (6-8) are provided with two mutually parallel strands and a pair of opposed arc-shaped deflecting regions, and guided into each deflecting region between the collars around the axially extending regions. The axially extending regions are shortened in an axial direction with respect to an initial state by applying a force, which compresses the thread packages between the collars. The collar case is made from deep-draw-moderate metal and an injection molding material i.e. plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a resilient pivotal connection element.
