The screw driver bit is made of metal and comprises a working end (30) at a front portion and a sharp-edged plug-in end (31) at a rear portion formed corresponding to the plug-in recess. The sharp-edged plug-in end is covered by another insulating layer (32) at which multiple rigid locking edges (33) are arranged. The grooves of the blade are formed as arc shaped concave surfaces.
