The method involves checking an authority of a mobile communication apparatus (2) to request an access or driving authority data (S3) by a data base server (4). The access or driving authority data for one-time access authorization or driving authority for a vehicle (1) is transmitted (S4) from the data base server to the mobile communication apparatus during a positive result of the checking process. The access or driving authority data is received at the vehicle from the mobile communication apparatus in order to obtain the access authorization or driving authority for the vehicle. The mobile communication apparatus is designed as a mobile telephone i.e. smartphone, a portable computer such as a handheld computer, notebook, netbook or tablet computer.
