The method involves providing two duplicate centrifugally accelerated fluid disks (1,2) in communication with each other along a largest scale, so that a pressure is hydrostatically constructed in the disks to compensate each other. Two chambers or slide cartridges (39,40) rotate with a rotor (3) to compress gas in the chambers or slide cartridges during deformation of the respective elastic element (22) by the influence of the centrifugal force. A local sealing, against leakage of gas from the slide cartridge or penetration of gas or liquid from outside, is avoided by constructive measures. An independent claim is included for a sliding cassette seal of a bearing or ball bearing.
