Method for operating electric drive for portal robot, involves regulating motor currents of individual electromotors based on predetermined portion of total current reference value signal in current reference signal
The method involves producing velocity reference value signal by coupling two electromotors (1,2). The velocity measurement signal is detected and velocity rule characteristics are provided to acquire runner velocity of electromotor (1). The total current reference value signal for sum of motor currents fed into electromotors is produced as functions of velocity measurement and reference value signals and characteristics. The motor currents of individual electromotors are regulated based on predetermined portion of total current reference value signal in current reference signal.
