Beverage composition comprises an aqueous solution comprising a polysaccharide matrix and polysaccharide particles with suitable density, where the polymer matrix is formed such that the particles are substantially suspended in the aqueous solution at room temperature. Independent claims are included for: (1) preparing a beverage composition comprising forming the polysaccharide matrix in the aqueous solution and then adding the polysaccharide particles; (2) a drink bottle containing the beverage composition; and (3) a kit for producing a beverage composition, comprising containers, and an aqueous solution comprising a polymer matrix and the polysaccharide particles, where the polymer matrix is formed such that the polysaccharide particles are substantially suspended in the aqueous solution.
