Use of an aminoester compound (I) as an accelerator for photo-induced reaction of 3-(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one, and/or 1-(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one to 1-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl) propane-1,3-dione, is claimed. Use of an aminoester compound of formula (I) as an accelerator for photo-induced reaction of 3-(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one, and/or 1-(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one to 1-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl) propane-1,3-dione, is claimed. R1-R3 : 6-19C-aryl (optionally substituted with OH, NH 2, linear or branched 1-10C-alkyl or straight or branched 1-10C-alkoxy), linear or branched 1-22C-alkyl, or 5-8C-cycloalkyl; R4 : 6-19C-aryl (optionally substituted), H, linear or branched 1-20C-alkyl, or 5-8C-cycloalkyl; m : 0 or 1; and n : 0-6, preferably 0-3, where n and m are not simultaneously 0. An independent claim is included for a preparation comprising (I), and 3-(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one, and/or 1-(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one, where a weight ratio of (I) and 3-(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-1-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one, and/or 1-(4-tert-butyl-phenyl)-3-hydroxy-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1-one is 2-50.
