The arrangement has a heating device that is arranged with a control for controlling temperature. A set of signals is transmitted from a temperature sensor, where the signals are received in a range close to a seat cushion such that the temperature sensor detects the temperature in a region of the seat cushion, where the region is immediately adjacent or adjacent to the cushion of a surface of the seat. The heating device is programmable such that the heating device occupies predetermined switching positions when the surface reaches a specific surface temperature detected by the sensor.
