The holding device has a sleeve (1) with a bottom part (2) in an end region, where a spring-loaded, axially movable intermediate base (3) is arranged in the sleeve. A mandrel (4) guided by the bottom part is fastened on the intermediate base. The movement of the intermediate base is limited, where a stopper (6) is formed on the inside wall of the sleeve, at which the intermediate base is applied in a non-use position. A pressure spring (5) is provided at the bottom part to support the intermediate base. The pressure spring is guided on the mandrel.
