The module (1) has fuel strainer (5), fine fuel filter (6), fuel supply port (7), fuel return connection terminal (11), fuel inlet terminal (8), fuel outflow terminal (12), valve device and fuel feed pump (3) which is arranged between fuel strainer and fine fuel filter along flow direction (9). The valve device is connected to the fuel return connection terminal for connecting the fuel feed pump to the fuel outflow terminal. A direct current (DC) electromotor having mechanically commutated DC motor and electronically commutated DC motor drives fuel feed pump. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) fuel tank; and (2) method for preparation and delivery of fuel for an internal combustion engine.
