The collector has a transparent optical medium (2) provided in a thin walled laminated plate that is designed as cuvette and comprising an upper fixed media section (2.1), a middle liquid media section (2.2) and a lower fixed media section (2.7). A photovoltaic coating (2.9) is arranged at a lower side (2.8) of the lower fixed media section and at an upper side of a separate base plate in a module body (1) at short distance. The photovoltaic coating is removed from the lower side of the lower fixed media section and positioned and held in supporting and clamping elements (1.1). The upper and lower fixed media sections are formed from crystalline special glass with high light transmittance.
