The dust bag system has a connection frame (8), which is fixed in a housing of a vacuum cleaner. An adapter plate (4) is connected with a dust bag (1). The opposite sides (9,10) of the connecting frame are dimensioned or adjusted to the outer distance such that the strips are inserted into the housing of the vacuum cleaner. The adapter plate is movable outside and on both sides on guides of the connecting frame by the guide rails. The guide rails are laterally arranged to the adapter plate.
