The device (1) has a sensor module (3) and a connection module (2) connected with each other. Flexible connection lines (21-23) of a rigid printed circuit board (20) extend in a cylindrical sensor body (30). The connection module comprises a housing body with a housing chamber, in which the rigid printed circuit board is partially arranged. The housing body is mechanically connected to the sensor body. Flexible conductors are connected to the rigid printed circuit board when the flexible strip conductors are introduced into the sensor body. The sensor module comprises a potentiometric sensor, pH-sensor, ion-sensitive sensor, oxygen sensor, conductivity sensor, photometric sensor, or amperometric sensor. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a modular measuring device.
