The ball circulating heat accumulator has non-pressurized or pressurized heat exchanger (1) that is operated according to the counterflow principle. The balls are used as a solid storage medium in heat exchanger, such that geometrically defined guidance of balls to closed pipes and/or open channels system, and separation of the balls within heat exchangers connected to storage tank (2) and the reservoir (5).
