The medium (4) has foam (2) comprising a liquid phase, where volume of the foam in the medium amounts to 60 % and nitrogen in the medium amounts to 40 %. The foam comprises oxygen with a maximum volume of 10 ppm when compared to nitrogen. Viscosity of the foam amounts to 1 Ns/m square, where the medium includes surfactant and/or fluid (3) with alkali and/or polymer component. The foam comprises nitrogen carbon dioxide, natural gas and/or associated gas. The foam is introduced at a flow rate same as that of the fluid into the reservoir. An independent claim is also included for a method for conveying a liquid medium i.e. oil, from a reservoir.
