The determining device (1) has a basin (31) for a water bath, in which each reaction vessel with a motor-operated agitator (12) of a movement mechanism (10), is immersed. A control device (10a) is arranged for controlling the agitation intensity of the movement mechanism. A control unit (20a) is provided for controlling the temperature of water in the water bath. The basin of the water bath is inserted into another basin (30) for thermal insulation from ambient air. Another basin is made of transparent plastic or glass.
