It is a process for the adaptation of an injection behavior of injectors in an internal combustion engine with the following steps are proposed: switching off of an injector; detecting a crank angle signal of the internal combustion engine; transforming of the crank angle signal by means of a discrete fourier transformation in the frequency range; detecting and storing of an amount of the harmonics of the 0,5ten order of the fourier transform of the crank angle signal, and associating the amount to the switched-off injector; switching on of the shut-off injector; performing of the preceding steps of sequentially for all the injectors of the internal combustion engine; forming a mean value of the stored values over all the injectors, and correcting an actuation of the injectors with the aid of a deviation of the one injector to be corrected, which is associated with the amount of the mean value.
