The car has a decorative element (15) attached on a support body that comprises a plastic vapor-deposited metal layer. A free portion of the support body is formed on exposed outer surface of the skin to a body of the decorative element through the metal layer. The support body is injection-molded or extrusion-molded. The decorative element is received in a recess (29) of the outer skin. A flexible seal is mounted on the support body that is attached to the outer skin. The decorative element is arranged in a gusset of the outer skin.
